It’s one of the busiest times of the year, New York Fashion Week! I have lots of interesting shows and presentations to attend this week in New York, which of course I’ll be sharing with you on the blog. In the meantime I want to talk to about  my new favorite form of flats–The Slipper.

I love my ballerina’s but in the winter they leave your feet feeling cold and exposed. So I decided to try a velvet slipper with it’s classic shape, lion embroidery, and rich blue velvet hue. These are by Stubbs & Wootton, a super cool company from West Palm Beach Florida with a store on Madison Ave in NYC. They have all kinds of slippers with different embroidery options, including bespoke shoes.

Let me tell you I feel in love with the slipper shoe, and have since purchased 2 more pairs! Will be featuring all 3 in another blog post as ‘The Slipper’ is my new favorite shoe for Spring.
