In the spirit of last weekend’s wedding (congrats to my brother and new sister!) I wanted to post about my whimsical wedding shoes for the big day! I have always been fascinated by Rene Caovilla’s designs, known for incorporating crystal embellishments & outstanding design, their shoes are a work of art.
Each shoe is handmade in Italy, more precisely, in Fiesso D’Artico, which is right outside of Venice. I spent a summer in Fiesso D’Artico, working at a neighboring shoe factory and became enamored with the area. Fiesso is a small lush and green, along the Brenta Canal featuring expansive villas, and it is no surprise that Rene Caovilla has their factory in such a regal part of Italy.
These shoes are designed perfectly, simple beige satin, en robes the shoe with a Swarvoski studded platform.
